What To Do In Uncertain Times
Many Potential Buyers wonder if now is the time to buy or should I wait and see what the economy is going to do? Some say, well I already missed that tax credit window so maybe I shouldn't buy right now.
If you put a pencil to it you will find that with the interest rates being where they are compared to what they were when the tax credit was available, a buyer will save double! Yes, that's right - double! Interest rates have never been this low, so now really is the time to buy if you can afford the payments. With the economy like it is you will find most properties priced very well, instead of overpricing giving room for the negotiation process. Agents are pricing properties very comparable with like properties on the market so that Sellers can get a Sold sign in their yards.
Isaiah 30:21 says, "And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, this is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left." We have to remember that God is always willing to lead us by the Holy Spirit. We are the ones who don't listen for that direction to come. We get anxious and want something done - yesterday!
God has timing for everything. Be patient and listen for that direction you need. He wants us to always be moving forward. Sometimes that forward movement will take us backwards. It's like connecting dots, you have to keep moving, don't let the direction confuse you and make you think you are not making any headway if you go backwards. Sometimes we missed something and need to go fix it so we can make better progress in our moving forward.
