The state of the economy didn't stop Kathy Borgini, Real Estate Broker with Firm Foundations Realty, from being the top seller for 2011, bringing in nearly 1 Million in Sales.

" Kathy's work ethics kept her on top. Even though she holds  a full time job at Blackburn College she never puts a client on the back burner. She is willing to do what it takes to make sure her clients are getting top notch service and she pays really close attention to details that some Agents would automatically over look," states Firm Foundations Realty's Managing Broker / Owner, Brenda S. Campbell.

Kathy has been a life long resident of Carlinville and is the wife of Don Borgini, Head Football Coach at Gillespie High School. She holds a full time job at Blackburn College in the Financial Aid Department there.

"I understand the challenges clients are faced with in buying and selling a home in today’s market. My goal is to provide clients with the highest level of service, knowledge, care and concern. The same service I would expect from others.” Kathy said.

" As an office owner I belong to Capital Area Association of Realtors which allows us to be a Multiple Listing Office, that enables us to enter our listings into a huge data base where hundreds of Realtors can access them. A requirement of belonging to CAAR is that we all have to become members of Illinois Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors which holds all of us to a strict code of ethics, of which, we are held accountable to. Membership in these places is essential in our office being able to remain abreast of all the new real estate laws and changes that ultimately are necessary in every transaction. Kathy's access to a data base like this has brought her clients from  Chicago, Tennessee and Missouri this year and allowed her to complete transactions with her clients out of state without them having to travel to Carlinville for closings."

" Brenda teaches us to be honest with one another while looking out for our clients best interest and she steps in any time we need her advice or help in our own transactions even though she is busy working the market and running our office. I have seen her take hours to be sure her clients are pre-qualified, go the extra mile to be sure they understand what they are signing and makes sure all the details in between putting an offer in and getting to the closing table are all in place. She attends the Home Inspections so she can understand any problems that might of been found, she stays connected to the Lenders and does her final walk through to be sure nothing has changed in the property to bring any surprises to anyone. Kathy holds a full time job at Blackburn College in the Financial Aid office so details are second nature to her. Kathy also has a natural flair for design, so I can get tips from her anytime someone wants a Redesign to Sell done on their home. I have seen Kathy take things into her listings from her own home to spruce them up to give them good eye appeal.
